Last week's scores weren’t too bad for Samuel's Super XI, but I have got to admit I was shocked to see FC Bayern München go out after a 4-0 loss to [FC] Zenit [St. Petersburg]. The final is proving a tough one to call at the moment but I am hoping that the changes I have made will see me having a very strong finish.

In goal
Zenit's Vyacheslav Malafeev joins the team in place of the now-eliminated Sébastien Frey of [ACF] Fiorentina. Malafeev's team-mate Kamil Čontofalský warms the bench.

A three-man defence
Rangers [FC] defender Carlos Cuéllar has been playing well and he keeps his place in my back line. Next to him is new signing and fellow Rangers man Saša Papac. Aleksandr Anyukov from Zenit comes off the bench and back into the team.

Four in midfield
He's been good so far, so Zenit's Konstantin Zyrianov stays in the side, as does Rangers' Steven Davis. Joining them are two new faces from Zenit - Anatoliy Tymoschuk and Victor Fayzulin.

A brand new strikeforce
Unfortunately the impressive Pavel Pogrebnyak [Zenit] is serving a ban, so he's had to go. Replacing him is his team-mate Andrei Arshavin, he really is a quality striker and I hope he scores in the final. I hope my other new face Alejandro Dominguez does too! Rounding off the team is Rangers striker Nacho Novo.
